Position Description :
Serco is seeking a Management Analyst to provide support to a General Staff Functional Unit, specializing in Operations activities related to the management of the Organization. This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Our Management Analyst will assist management or clients by analyzing and coordinating operations functions to include staff coordination, records management, tasker management, mission analysis, reporting and physical security by performing the following duties. Review, prepare, develop, and modify reports and policies. Analyze procedures and workflow of the DAC staff and recommends improvements in such areas as operational business processes such as tasker development, administration, and program management.

Our programs supports the development of short-to-long range planning by developing guidance to align efforts with AFC and DEVCOM HQ Operations functions.

In this role, you will:
  • Provide organization, accountability, flexibility, and ability to work independently are essential qualities for success
  • Comprehend the hierarchal structure of the organization and identify POC’s for functional units or processes
  • Assist with access control, key control and badging duties
  • Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations under this effort, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at various locations
  • Provide services for numerous operations and activities to include detailed planning related to multiple complex projects, issues, exercises and initiatives
  • Responsible for business operations and internal management in support of the execution of mission operations
  • Participate in operational planning and program development and ensure processes, policies, and training are consistent with organizational goals
  • Support the development and preparation of reports and briefings to leadership
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Ability to obtain & maintain an active DoD Secret clearance
  • A high school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years' of work experience exhibiting transferrable skills
Additional desired experience and skills:
  • An associates degree or bachelors degree
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite with demonstrated experience
  • Innovative, with the ability to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey information across all organizational levels
  • Strong customer service focus

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $56,397 to $84,596; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
