The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX Enterprise Services Finance has an exciting opportunity within our Transformation Programs team, based in Farmington, CT. We work to support large change initiatives across the enterprise and act as the Center Of Excellence (COE) for business case development, program controllership, Long Range Plan (LRP) initiatives, forecasting, and reporting across large programs and projects.

This role partners with Operations Finance, FP&A and the program management offices (PMO) across Enterprise Services. Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly closing process. This includes ownership over the accounting and reporting functions across programs.

  • Support the EAC forecast process, risk assessment, variance and data analytics

  • Act as Finance lead, and liaison, to large operations teams within Enterprise Services

  • Capital tracking and reporting; this includes working with ES program managers to place fixed assets into service

  • Decision support analysis including business case development and eCAR submissions

  • Ensuring a robust and compliant control environment for all accounting processes

  • Participate in process improvement activities to drive best practices across programs, working closely with Operations Finance, FP&A, and the various program management offices (PMO)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum 3 years experience with US GAAP Accounting

  • Knowledge of SAP and month end close procedures

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and SAP

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem solving/analytical experience/skills

  • Experience in business cases and decision support analysis

  • CPA/MBA is a plus

  • Proven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, good business acumen, and ability to brief levels of management

  • Ability to take initiative working effectively within a team or individually with little direct supervision

  • Ability to provide consistently excellent customer service

  • Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment

  • A strong desire to learn, and willingness to keep an open mind to new possibilities

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
