Manager, Hospital Onboarding

RxBenefits is hiring! We are hiring for a leadership position within our Client Onboarding organization to lead the team directly responsible for the success of our hospital and in-house pharmacy client implementations. This role will oversee a team of pharmacy benefits experts, and function as a player/coach, who leverage that expertise as consultants responsible for understanding the benefit design needs of our clients, and the plan and program requirements of our partnering PBMs, to ensure a flawless implementation. This role will also oversee project management professionals who develop and execute on project specifications, objectives and plans for implementations and solutions for complex projects. The Manager of Hospital Onboarding will support the success and satisfaction of our clients while taking our process and people to the next level.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Work side-by-side with the team with direct responsibility for our complex client onboarding & change projects, with a focus on developing talent, refining process, and delivering accurate results
  • Work side-by-side with the team responsible for consulting with our clients & broker partners and translating the client benefit and program requirements for accurate set up
  • Coach and demonstrate to your team best practices in client consultation, ensuring client expectations are heard, understood, and that expectations are managed
  • Ensure use of project management system and templates for all client projects
  • Develop process and procedure documentation to support hospital client implementations
  • Continually analyze team processes/procedures and provide recommendations and solutions for improvement opportunities
  • Accurately maintain capacity and productivity measurements for you and your team
  • Build and maintain a performance-based culture
  • Meet KPI goals as defined for team and department
  • Conduct performance monitoring, career path progress, regular one-on-ones, and yearly performance evaluation in support of development of all team members
  • Ensure team maintains current & accurate implementation documents and applies them consistently and correctly in line with defined process
  • Maintain knowledge of hospital, in-house pharmacy, 304B programs and offerings and trends
  • Maintain knowledge of RxBenefits products and services, supporting team activity to align client with appropriate needs and implement successfully prior to go-live date
  • Support calls with brokers, clients and PBM Partners related to process or project escalations as needed
  • Partner with Operations Development to identify training needs to ensure all project leads have the knowledge and skills necessary for success
  • Partner with Operational Excellence and all Client Operations leadership team members to ensure consistent and effective lines of communication, as well as driving collaboration that enhances our process delivery & the experience for both internal and external customers
  • Proactively identify risks and assist with development of mitigation/avoidance plans
  • Develop & maintain active lines of communication with AM team and other stakeholders throughout the client project life cycle, including status reports on project milestones, scope changes, risks and actions
  • Actively support the risk management team and process (known as C3) to engage your team in effectively supporting client needs and communicating effectively on the status of client projects with internal partners
  • Participate in ongoing business process standardization

Required Skills / Experience Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) preferred and 5+ years in benefit implementation or project management with commensurate leadership experience
  • Proven success in a client facing position required
  • Prior experience in the Pharmacy / Healthcare industry a plus
  • Working proficiency of company standard MS Windows and associated office productivity software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with project management software desired (Clarizen, Asana, etc.)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proven analytical skills with a passion for digging through data to enforce business decisions and influence all planning
  • Exceptional partner in collaboration with other leaders

  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills. Able to work with people of varied technical backgrounds and management levels
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
