Manager, Network Security - Remote

What you’ll do:
The Network Security Manager is responsible for leading a network security team that manages the organization’s firewalls and related network security products. In this role, you will actively seek opportunities to leverage technology to improve the organization’s security posture. Your team will lead product evaluations, and develop project proposals to request funding for related projects. These responsibilities come with a significant daily operational workload of firewall change requests. You will review proposed changes and assess security risks alongside business needs.
Responsibilities:
TRAVEL: Occasional overnight travel (up to 15%) by land and/or air.
What you’ll need:
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in a related business or technical field, or equivalent experience in combination with relevant technical network security certifications.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: One or more of the following certifications is preferred, with preference given
toward technical certifications: PCNSE, PCCSE, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, and/or other network security related industry certifications.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8 years experience as a Network Security Manager, Network Security Engineer, Network Engineer, or some combination of those roles that demonstrate the ability to lead a network security team in a large enterprise network environment.
