Job Description

Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary: Manage Team to successful completion of Team objectives. Manage Team to promote the well-being of all Team Members. Always promote & strive for superior customer service, high quality standards on deliverables, and the consistent meeting of quotas.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial point of contact for all Team related matters
  • Responsible for management of and assistance with all/select areas below
    • Account management- client facing activities and services
    • Compliance testing and calculations- and other related activities
    • Assist client with matters of distributions, quality control & trust accounting
  • Maintain high level of professionalism with staff, clients & advisors
  • Illustrate positive attitude and invoke “Team Player” ethic in all situations
  • Able to work independently & exercise good judgement in decision making
  • Oversee work flow and Team obligations
  • Ensure staff has necessary tools to meet all expectations of their jobs
  • Standards enforced for quality and turnaround times
  • Responsible for all deadlines related to Team’s responsibilities
    • Confirm 5500 filings each month (and 5558s when applicable)
    • Manage processing of Testing and Calculations to meet client deadlines
    • Ensure internal deadlines for projects and quotas are met
  • Handle/supervise all client and broker complaints to conclusion
  • Manage staff PTO requests & special work time requests to ensure coverage
  • Manage staff work times, behavior, conduct and actions to Pentegra standards
  • Ensure all policy/procedures are adhered to
  • Create Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) when an issue is identified
  • Troubleshoot / problem resolution - recommend new procedures when needed
  • Attend Client/Broker meetings as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience In Retirement Plan Administration
  • Experience managing others preferred (managing EEs remotely a plus)
  • Ability to manage responsibilities up and down the reporting chain
  • Knowledge of defined contribution plans testing and compliance
  • Experience with Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs) preferred
  • 3(16) Fiduciary Services knowledge a plus
  • Excellent Client Relationship, Communication and Organizational skills
  • Problem solving ability & ability to work in fast paced team environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
  • Working knowledge of Relius compliance, FT Williams Gov forms & Salesforce a plus
  • ASPPA designations a plus or be willing to obtain designations
