Position Summary

Responsible for accurately processing material transactions in Oracle based on production reporting. Issues materials used on a project into the discrete job, ensuring accuracy to the Bill of Material. Completes and closes discrete jobs when completed, creating finished goods inventory for pick release.

What you'll do

  • Using cut sheets, pick lists, and material receipts, accurately issue raw materials into the correct discrete job.
  • Verify the accuracy of materials issued (to the Bill of Material) and resolve any variances.
  • Proactively work with production supervisors, planning, quality & purchasing to ensure completion of their activities in the prescribed time frame to deliver these projects on time.
  • Using the skid sheets provided by the Assembly Coordinator and other production documentation, complete discrete jobs so that inventory is available in the system for the pick release process.
  • Work closely with the Assembly Coordinator to resolve material and inventory discrepancies that prevent closing of discrete jobs and backorders during the pick release process.
  • Track and reports key production metrics.
  • Work with Quality team to ensure raw materials have been cleared for use and can be issued to discrete jobs.
  • Reconcile inventory variances and cycle counts.

Secondary Accountabilities

In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.
