Medical Billing Expert - Arizona Behavioral Health Specialty for Commercial Insurance

### Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced medical billing expert to join our team and oversee all aspects of billing and revenue cycle management for our behavioral health practice in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, a deep understanding of Arizona behavioral health regulations and payer requirements, and a proven track record of maximizing reimbursement and minimizing denials.

### Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full revenue cycle including patient registration, insurance verification, claim submission, follow-up, and collections
- Ensure all claims are submitted accurately and in compliance with Arizona behavioral health billing guidelines and payer policies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payers and resolve any billing-related issues or denials
- Analyze billing data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and coding for services rendered
- Stay up-to-date on changes to Arizona behavioral health regulations, billing codes, and payer requirements
- Train and supervise billing staff to maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity
- Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency

### Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in the Arizona behavioral health market
- In-depth knowledge of Arizona behavioral health regulations, billing codes, and payer requirements
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Specialist in Behavioral Health Coding (CSBHC) certification preferred
