Responsibilities:

• Submit insurance claims electronically or by mail in compliance with payer requirements
• Follow up on denied or rejected claims to identify and resolve issues
• Post patient payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Communicate with internal team members regarding their billing claims and claim input errors
• Ability to Navigate and understand Electronic Health Record System (EMR) and other software
• Maintain detailed records of all billing activities and generate reports as needed
• Stay up-to-date on changes to insurance policies, coding guidelines, and billing regulations
• Collaborate with the healthcare provider's office staff to ensure efficient revenue cycle management
