What you will be doing as a Remote Medical Records Specialist:

• Become an expert on our Case Management Software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office that you will be using daily
• Request records to support of clients’ claims
• Access & retrieve medical records & bills from scans, portals etc.
• Call providers to verify information is correct
• Update medical provider information with records, bills, etc.
• Review medical records & medical bills to confirm clients’ accident-related treatment & medical expenses
• Verify that our firm is being invoiced correctly based on the state laws
• Quality is extremely important to our firm. That’s why we have the standards of maintaining at least a 90% on quality scores.

Now you might be wondering about the pay? The Remote Medical Records Specialist’s starting pay rate is $12.98 per hour. For this position, you receive a performance appraisal EVERY SIX MONTHS! That’s right! You will always know how you’re doing with your performance. And do you know what else? If you score well on your performance review, you will get a 17 to 29 cent increase every 6 months until you reach the cap of the pay range.
