We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional service and support to our valued members, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to our members, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Handle member inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Assist members with account management tasks, such as opening and closing accounts, updating personal information, and issuing debit cards
- Educate members on our products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and online/mobile banking
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex member issues and escalate when necessary
- Promote and cross-sell our products and services to meet and exceed sales goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with members and provide exceptional service
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of financial products and services is a plus
