Responsibilities

  • Fusion Care Group is currently looking for a licensed mental health counselor Clinical Supervisor in ID who would like experience working at a private practice.
  • This position requires some hours after 3 PM

  • Areas of experience with ADHD/Depression/Anxiety/Autism Spectrum will be helpful.
  • Experience with children is a necessity. Consultation support will be provided.

Clinical Supervisor Core Duties

The Clinical Supervisor will have supervision meetings with staff to discuss treatments and professional issues. The Clinical Supervisor will guide practitioners to assess clients’ mental health, develop suitable treatments, and make referrals. You will support, train, evaluate, discipline, and motivate staff. You will always ensure the quality of clinical documentation. To be successful in this role you need to display strong leadership and make prudent decisions to maintain therapists who can adequately fulfill clients’ treatment needs.

● Having regular meetings with the management team and providers.

● Overseeing and reviewing therapists clinical work procedures and progress notes.

● Conduct ongoing supervision with therapists and interns to ensure their performance goals are

met.

● Counseling, motivating, and disciplining therapists, and referring advanced issues to senior

management.

● Assisting in conducting performance reviews.

● Ensuring therapists comply with licensure and registration requirements.

● Participate in professional development networks and associations to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices. Behavioral Health Regulatory Compliance, Documentation and Reporting.

Principal Duties and Skills

  • Practice independently and provide a professional and confidential assessment as well as individual, family, and group psychotherapy services to help clients address issues including emotional/behavioral problems, environmental conditions, and social difficulties.
  • Work closely with other psychology professionals in a mental health care coordination, consultation, and training role.
  • Collaborate on care coordination with school and other involved professionals
  • Complete diagnostic assessment including assessment of mental health concerns, treatment plans, anxiety and depression measures, and measures of progress
  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
  • Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
  • Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others — Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others
  • Thinking Creatively — Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
  • Communicating with management, Peers and other staff
  • Providing information to managers, co-workers, and staff by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

Qualifications

  • Evidence of clinical licensure in ID - LMFT / LCSW / LPC / LPCC / PHD / PSYD / PSYM
  • licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed professional clinical counselor
  • Must have at least 6 months of clinical experience working with children, youth, adults and families with diverse clinical issues.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
