Fast paced medical billing company seeking full-time remote MIPS Program Coordinator.

Leading Radiology Medical Billing Company is seeking a MIPS Program Coordinator. This individual will be highly motivated, detailed oriented and responsible for coordinating and assisting the MIPS Program Manager in all aspects of the program. The MIPS Program Coordinator will assist in all components of MIPS, including education, performance monitoring, data submission, and quality improvement initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that our healthcare providers meet and exceed MIPS performance standards, ultimately enhancing patient care and optimizing financial incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engages with OS to understand/act on future opportunities
  • Client/Physician and internal Education on Industry changes and updates
  • Assist in the preparation of written analysis and presentation material
  • Assist in hosting formal and informal educational sessions both internally and externally
  • Quarterly contribution to MBMS newsletter
  • Serve as an ongoing resource for Clients as well as MBMS management
  • Be industry leading expert on current industry processes, topics and standards
  • Data mining and reporting of MIPS/MACRA
  • Assist in the formatting of monthly and quarterly files for upload
  • Create Client specific reports and analysis upon request; poor performing measures, discrepancies in TAT data, Outcome measure feedback
  • As directed, conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to provide insights for strategic decision-making
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to radiology billing and revenue management
  • Create reports and summaries to help clients and internal teams understand the impact of industry changes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of compliance strategies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the QPP portal and ability to navigate the required processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Keen attention to detail, highly organized and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC), preferred
  • Experience with the NRDR a plus
  • 2+ years of recent MIPS documentation and reporting experience
