Position Primary Purpose and General Duties

The individual will serve as a member of the National Training and Data Center (NTDC) Monitoring and Support Team. They will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of Social Security’s efforts to improve project compliance with program standards and enhance program outcomes of community-based Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) programs nationwide.
  • Collect program data through reviews of annual and quarterly WIPA project reports and other administrative documents to assess project compliance with performance standards and requirements;
  • Develop detailed written reports and deliver in-person and virtual verbal presentations to NTDC leadership and Social Security staff summarizing the results of data collection activities;
  • Participate with Social Security staff on virtual meetings with multiple WIPA projects each year, including preparing written materials prior to the meetings, collecting and compiling data obtained from the WIPA projects, and developing reports summarizing meeting outcomes;
  • Assist Social Security personnel to respond to reviews and audits conducted by the Social Security Office of the Inspector General (OIG), the Government Accountability Office (GAO), and other auditors as required;
  • Enter data into multiple Social Security reporting databases following rigorous data security protocols; and
  • Participate in NTDC and Social Security staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as appropriate.
