We are seeking a Mortgage Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team.
The Mortgage Compliance Analyst will support various functions within the Compliance Department.
This position requires an understanding of federal and state laws governing the mortgage loan origination process, along with problem solving ability.
This Mortgage Compliance Analyst at Knock will support regulatory and compliance testing and other projects as needed.

As a Mortgage Compliance Analyst you will:
Develop a deep understanding of the existing business processes and cross departmental interactions
Perform compliance testing to ensure mortgage loan documents follow federal and state regulations as well as agency requirements.
Research and review origination documents and disclosures for language and content requirements
Perform compliance testing on denial/withdrawn files
Monitor issue remediation and action plans from found during testing
Research and respond to compliance inquiries from Sales and Operations
Research new market state specific disclosure and fee requirements
Take on ad-hoc projects as they arise & always be willing to support your team where they need you.
Provide support with other compliance needs as required
We're looking for Knockstars who:
Have experience in mortgage loan processing, loan quality control, or compliance-related space within residential lending.
Basic understanding of Fannie Mae & Freddie MAC; VA & FHA loans; and governmental & agency requirements and processing systems.
Are all about organization - someone who is passionate about bringing organization to chaos and loves the details; always striving to get things done quickly, but accurately.
Hold an innate ability to learn new technology & ramp up your skills fast through self-learning, research, and asking the right questions.
Are passionate for Real Estate disruption & excited to make an impact in people's lives.
