Our firm is a boutique tax and consulting firm that is part of an international tax group We specialize in international tax compliance and controversy cases. We are looking for an experienced tax senior or manager to join our team in the Pasadena, CA area for a part-time position (20-30 weekly hours). We are looking for someone who wants to be in charge of their hours while working on various projects and tax returns. We are flexible and considerate of our employee's time and are open to discussing the possibility of remote work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for a full range of tax services to our high network of individuals and small business clients.
• Prepare, review and monitor services in accordance with individual and business tax compliance.
• Manage all aspects of client accounts.
• Identify and resolve technical tax issues.
• Provide administrative support as needed on ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of federal tax experience.
• Public accounting firm experience.
• Advanced tax software experience, including knowledge of CCH ProSystems or CCH Axcess.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organization and management skills.
• Recommendations from the last employment and references will be requested after the first interview call.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
