CCC — Compassionate Certification Centers — a leading medical marijuana/medical cannabis certification company headquartered in Pennsylvania, is expanding into West Virginia and will soon offer comprehensive services to patients suffering from chronic and debilitating ailments approved under the WV Department of Health’s Medical Marijuana Program guidelines.

CCC is currently seeking a full-time top talented Patient Care Specialist, to add to our growing team. The Patient Care Specialist plays a pivotal role in our patient care process. Through compassion, education, and understanding a Patient Care Specialist will guide our patients to feeling better and improving their lives.

A Patient Care Specialist at CCC is outgoing and enjoys helping people. They can adapt and learn new computer programs quickly. Multitasking, communication, and critical thinking are pillars for a Patient Care Specialist. Customer service is the key element to being successful in this role.

**Please note that CCC does NOT sell or handle medical cannabis products.**

Responsibilities:

● Communicating with staff, supervisors, and physicians within the organization.

● Maintain patient and employee privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

● Answer multi-line phone system and schedule appointments or direct calls to the appropriate department.

● Answer high volume of incoming calls

● Check voicemails/online tasks and return customer calls

● Maintain email communication with patients and co-workers daily

● Review patients submitted documentation

● Assist physicians in providing medical marijuana evaluations via telemedicine for patients with approved conditions.

● Provide compassionate care and support to patients seeking alternative treatment options.

● Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements:

● Prior customer service/healthcare experience

● Excellent communication skills

● Background check

Qualifications:

● 1 + years in healthcare or customer service preferred.

● High School Diploma (Associates in healthcare preferred)

● Ability to execute active listening and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional customer service.

● Excellent inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levels.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills including phone and e-mail etiquette.

● Ability to effectively learn and utilize multiple computer programs.

● Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

● Experience or certification in Cannabis Medicine preferred but not required.
