BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Position Details:

  • Location: Fully Remote (must reside in Florida)
  • Status: Full time
  • Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Days: Monday through Friday


This Patient Financial Representative Coordinator Opportunity is a full-time remote position on the high dollar accounts receivable team. Team members must reside in Florida.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Financial Coordinator performs basic third-party payor types, documents activity on patient accounts, understands, measure and reports on Patient Financial Services functions and account flow. The Patient Financial Coordinator performs all patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, cash applications, refunds, contract adjudication and Coding Support Compliance. The Patient Financial Coordinator serves as a team leader in problem solving and analysis of process improvement, orients and trains new Patient Financial Representative team members as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Certifications and Licensures

  • None required
  • CPAT (Patient Accounts) OR CPAM (Patient Accounts) OR CCAT (Clinical Account) within 1 year of hire/transfer into the job.

Education

  • Required High School or equivalent

Experience

  • Required 5 years of patient accounts
  • Or 5 years related field
  • Preferred healthcare collections/ accounts receivable
