Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for new patients and ensuring a smooth transition into our physical therapy office. This is a vital role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the intake process for new patients, including gathering necessary information and completing required paperwork
- Schedule initial appointments and follow-up visits if appropriate
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Skills:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
