Heritage is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team, working remotely and local to the Bloomington, IL area. Responsibilities will include maintaining computerized time clock system at all levels, inputting/and running payrolls for assigned facilities, updating and maintaining paid time off, payroll taxes, direct deposits, various weekly and monthly reports using Excel, checking wage garnishments, and terminating paid time off.

Qualifications:
  • Previous Payroll experience preferred
  • Must have great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Must have sufficient computer knowledge and possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
  • Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Schedule availability to work 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) at 37 ½ hours a week
