Job Description

Summary:

The PFQA Coordinator will assist the PFQA Department in various tasks including pulling daily reports, making daily Selections, setting the Pre-Funding Quality Assurance tracking item in Lakewood and adding the selections to the monthly Selection report. The PFQA Coordinator will maintain PFQA’s New Broker & New Loan Officer lists. They will also work closely with the PFQA Manager to ensure seasoning requirements are met on selected loans and will perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review the daily PFQA Seasoning Report and copy reviews needed to Seasoning review tracking excel spreadsheet.

  • Determine through research of documentation in the file, including Note, Mortgage, credit report, title commitment, payoff, and any other document available, that seasoning requirements are met and VA Funding Fee is correct.

  • Recognize/identify critical issues and communicate or escalate to manager as needed.

  • Communicate when needed to both internal and external contacts clearly and concisely.

  • Respond to elevated items quickly and work with Managers to expedite resolution.

  • Work with management staff as needed to resolve problems and questions in a timely manner.

  • Provide timely reports as needed or requested.

  • Able to manage multiple processes and effectively shift between them throughout the day.

  • Run & download PFQA’s daily reports, make Selections and add to monthly Selection report.

  • Add Pre-Funding Quality Assurance tracking item in System to loans selected daily.

  • Maintain & update as needed PFQA’s New Broker & New Loan Officer lists.

  • Special Projects/additional duties as assigned.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Other Related Duties:

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is an individual contributor with no direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Able to manage multiple processes and effectively shift between them throughout the day.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of mortgage documents.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma

  • Zero (0) to two (2) years related work experience.

Language Skills:

Individual must have the ability to read and interpret loan file documentation, company policies, procedures, guidelines, reports and legal documents.

Mathematical Skills:

Candidate must be able to use a calculator, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet utilizing Amortization Schedule, and have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Individual must have the ability to define problems, collect pertinent information, determine the facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None required.

Work Complexity:

Checks and makes minor adjustments to work methods to solve problems that are routine and typically exist in current work processes and systems. May be required to highlight areas of concerns/problems and puts forth solutions to supervisor. Problems and issues faced are generally routine, but often require interpretation of FFOC’s procedures or policies to resolve problems.
