Job Description

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Public Health and Safety Division, Communicable Disease Control and Prevention Bureau.

 

The Program Assistant provides administrative support to the Food and Consumer Safety Section.  Other responsibilities include: 1) Attending meetings, taking notes, and transcribing minutes; 2) Contract monitoring of timelines, multiple funding sources, and reporting requirements; and 3) Reviewing and monitoring budget expenditures and preparing budget reports for management review.

  • Meet minimum qualifications:

    • High School diploma the equivalent.

    • Four years office management, administrative support, or program coordination experience.

    • Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Information

 

This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
