Job Summary:

The Tactical Strike finance team, in the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) SBU, has an immediate opening for a Program Controls Analyst (grade P2). The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and a working knowledge of program finance, including EV, EAC development, and financial systems experience (APEX, EDIT+, PMX). The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively across Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads and Program Management (PM), understand EV cadence, and be able to assist in keeping a cross-functional team driving to critical deadlines.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Help manage the program’s financial performance baseline, Earned Value Management System and monitor monthly earned value cost and schedule.

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis

  • Support development of financial external deliverables (CDRLs)

  • Support the monthly forecast / close process

  • Frequent collaboration with ~3 other Finance professionals, Program Manager, and CAM’s/IPTLs

  • Perform financial analysis to understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related topic.

  • Typically requires 2+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 0-2+ years prior relevant experience.

  • Experience in using SAP Business Systems or similar tools

  • Experience with EVMS (or similar process); or ability to achieve EVMS certification within 3 months of hiring

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Excel pivot tables, advanced formulas)

  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Security Clearance

  • Continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Team player contributing new ideas

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment

  • Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements

  • Experience with the Earned Value Management systems including APEX EV and program Management Excellence (PMX) tool suite would be a plus

  • Proactive and motivated attitude towards learning

  • Earned Value Certification

  • Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures

Additional Information:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
