The Tactical Space Systems division Digital Transformation team is seeking an experienced support analyst with a customer-oriented attitude and passion for providing exceptional customer service to provide end user support for the division’s product lifecycle management (PLM) ecosystem. As Helpdesk Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or chat. You will provide support for software and workflow-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions to ensure efficient and effective resolution. This position is a remote role supporting a Dulles, VA & Gilbert, AZ based community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline PLM technical support via phone, email, and chat. Specific areas include:
    • Workflow issues
    • Visualization issues including Creo View
    • Access issues and account creation
    • Issues related to CAD Workgroup management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by end users related to the PLM ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with other support engineers in the Northrop Grumman Space sector and the vendor application engineers (PTC) where circumstances warrant.
  • Document and maintain support processes & procedures.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Provide administrative support to the PLM ecosystem when necessary.
  • Triage issues using our ticketing system.
  • Provide training and mentoring to users as needed.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong customer services skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position can be filled at the System Admin or Principal System Admin level.

Basic Qualifications:

Support Analyst

  • Bachelors degree with 3 years of experience or Masters degree with 1 year of experience. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical support for engineering-based applications.
  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications – specifically Teams / Word / Excel / PowerPoint.

Principal Support Analyst

  • Bachelors degree with 6 years of experience or Masters degree with 4 year of experience. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical support for engineering-based applications.
  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications – specifically Teams / Word / Excel / PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts and methods.
  • Experience with PTC Windchill, Thingworx, and/or Creo View applications and administration.

Salary Range: $72,100 - $133,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
