Job Description



Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. This position will support the Registrar’s office with a high level of customer service, providing direct student support via phone, email, and face to face interaction, for processes including records maintenance, registration, and transcripts.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.



KSA's/Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of high volume office. Working knowledge of customer service practices, principles and problem resolution. Demonstrated ability to use database and word processing software, email and the internet. Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments within appropriate time frames and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply college and academic policies and procedures in the completion of departmental duties, and relay this information clearly to prospective students, parents and the general public. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work effectively in a team setting.
