Job Description

This is a remote position.

Summary: The Business Process Analyst- Analytics, under the direction of the Analytics Manager, provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and provide analytic support for the SSC Fort Smith. This position performs daily and weekly data mining activities necessary for report production. Employee is cross trained in reporting for all departments in the SSC and is able to provide reporting and analytical support on request.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (List in order of importance or percentage of time spent on the particular responsibility. High to Low)

  • Complete standardized daily, weekly and monthly reporting as assigned by associates reporting matrix (40%)
  • Prepare and accommodate Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis on request, to support SSC Associates, SSC Leadership, Facilities, Corporate Office and Vendors (25%)
  • Support team members with daily workload and Ad-hoc requests when needed or assigned by leadership, (15%)
  • Assist end users with understanding and utilizing current reports and also collaborate with them to make report updates and changes (10%)
  • Participate in SSC, Facility, and Companywide projects to provide analytical support and recommendations throughout the project until its completion (10%)

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, validate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


Qualifications:

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, mathematics

Required Experience: Minimum of one year of experience with Financial Accounting, Data Analysis, Programming or Hospital Business Office Functions

Preferred Experience: 3 years of experience in healthcare accounting or business office

Required License/Registration/Certification: N/A

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: CHFP (Certified Healthcare Financial Professional)

Computer Skills Required:

Knowledge of SQL and VBA, Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook
