Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk// Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing company files, both physical and electronic, and ensuring records are accurate and easily accessible.


Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and documents.
  • Sort, label, and file documents and records according to established protocols.
  • Scan, upload and maintain electronic files and documents.
  • Retrieve and distribute files and documents as requested.
  • Ensure all files are properly labeled and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track file movements and locations.
  • Assist with filing and document management related tasks as needed.
  • Follow established filing system guidelines and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with file audits and records retention procedures.


    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior experience as a file clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
    • Proficiency in using computers and electronic file management systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Knowledge of office equipment and basic office procedures.
    • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
