Job Description

Premier House Calls offers an innovative in-home primary care service. What distinguishes us from traditional clinics is our ability to provide care directly to patients in the comfort of their own homes, eliminating the need for transportation.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Office Administrator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office setting, with proficiency in handling various administrative tasks such as answering phones, insurance verification, managing medical records, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Title 19 processes, and navigating hospital portals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and emails, providing excellent customer service to patients and other stakeholders.
  • Verify insurance coverage and navigate insurance portals .
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders and related documentation.
  • Handle Title 19 (Medicaid) procedures and submissions.
  • Navigate hospital portals for referrals, authorizations, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth operations of the medical office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Proficiency in medical office administrative tasks, including phone etiquette, insurance verification, medical records management, DME processes, Title 19 procedures, and hospital portal navigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in using office software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Must reside in the Katy/Richmond area for occasional in-person meetings or trainings.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Selected candidates will undergo two weeks of training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
