A leading medical device manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our team. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for our medical devices. This is a critical role that will contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software architectures for medical devices using C#, C++, PHP, Python, and HL7 standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the software solutions meet the needs of external clients and product teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user manuals
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and technical expertise
  • Implement and optimize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments to improve software development efficiency
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in the QA testing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements

  • MS or BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a Software Architect, designing and implementing software solutions
  • Experience with most of the following: C#, C++, PHP, Python, HL7, PostgreSQL (or another SQL Variant)
  • Experience in developing software for medical devices or in the healthcare industry is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments (experience working in similar role for a software or technical-products company)
  • Familiarity with SDLC and related documentation processes in a regulated industry is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
