The Research Data Analyst works with the research analytics teams and investigators to prepare and manage data resources, and contribute to analysis and reporting. Data preparation and management responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing data quality issues and anomalies, creating new variables based on existing data, merging datasets, and other functions to create comprehensive analytic datasets. The Research Data Analyst also supports reporting responsibilities of the research analytics teams by creating descriptive summary tables; using graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data; perform basic statistical analyses such as bivariate analysis, basic ANOVA, linear and logistic regression, etc.; and assisting in writing descriptions of methods and results for abstracts and publications.
