The Revenue Cycle team is dedicated to ensuring everything goes right for the patient. This group is looking for a team member with a strong ability to work independently, has a positive outlook, and is willing to actively contribute to the Team. This position represents the Revenue Cycle department of Columbia County Health System as an in-person resource for the patients, the team, and the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on years of experience, education, and licensing
• Full-Time, 40 hours/week
• Remote in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho
• Full-Time Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, as well as PTO and Sick Time Accruals

We are looking to hire a full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist II - Cash Poster! In this role, you will be responsible of the following duties:

• Post patient and insurance payments to accounts via Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) or manually posting from paper remits
• Work Unapplied Accounts
• Process Payment Posting Tickets
• Transferring payments between accounts when necessary
• Post daily deposit and balance posting daily
• Post Zero Dollar Remits weekly
• Track down missing remits
• Submit EFT enrollment for payers who are not currently enrolled
• Assisting with special projects as assigned

To be successful in this role you will understand insurance language, industry standards, regulations, and laws while being able to convey this information in a clear manner, have at least 1-year of healthcare billing experience, who has worked with a wide variety of insurance portals, and have knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes. Experience in Meditech Expanse is a plus!
