The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects, managing scope, schedule and budget, as well as, at times, performing the role of Business Analyst.  The Business Analyst helps with data validation, scenario configuration/analysis, and deriving business insight from the application.  In addition, the Senior Project Manager will build and manage the team of Project Managers.

The ideal candidate will be based in Dallas, TX – alternate locations could be considered for the right candidate – and have a proven track record of managing supply chain network optimization and/or supply chain planning projects. The candidate preferably has worked for a software or consulting firm in the Supply Chain space, has experience in optimization, scheduling, and/or planning software.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, manage and close implementation projects
• Plan and manage River Logic support on Partner projects
• Oversee planning and delivery of River Logic instructor-led training to Customers and Partners
• Support the Go-to-Market team with project planning and validation of Statements of Work
• Build and manage the Project Management team
• Lead the development of delivery artifacts
• Innovate on approaches and tools to improve efficiency and project success
• Support Customer Success and Customer Billing activities
• Track and report team utilization metrics, including ownership of time management tools and processes

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ experience managing projects in the Supply Chain space
• Track record of successful project delivery in Supply Chain Network Design and Supply Chain Planning is a strong plus
• Knowledge of project management processes, best practices and tools, especially MS Project
• Highly organized, with attention to detail and excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively at all levels on a team
• Experience Manufacturing, Resources, Life Sciences and/or Distribution industries is a plus
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred
• Basic understanding of Managerial & Financial Accounting
• Undergraduate in Engineering is preferred (Industrial preferred), Finance, Computer Science or Analytics – Masters is an advantage
