• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Install, configure, test and maintain storage systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

• Must have experience with  VMWare automation, VMware products, VMware system architecture, VMware design, integration, and management
• Must be Proficient VMware System 
• Operating System Certification (Linux+, RHCSA, NCCNA, Net+, VMware Certified, etc.)
• Virtual Storage Console (VSC) experience
• vRealize Automation (vRA) experience
• Scripting experience with vRO (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (or equivalent) or above

Education:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related scientific / Technical discipline and 10+ years of work experience
• Ten (10) Years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 Years Total)

Clearance: 

• The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation 

Location:

• Remote, USA
• Monday - Friday (1:00 AM - 9:30 PM CST)

Pay Range:

• The pay for this position ranges from $42,730 to $98,500
• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
• Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
