Job Summary:
The Sourcing / Contracting Analyst manages the Vanderbilt License Portfolio by providing licensing analysis and procurement to advance the software management infrastructure and service of Vanderbilt University.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages existing contracts and supplier relations for areas and products. Coordinate the acquisition, and renewal of existing agreements.
  • Review, understand, and negotiate terms and conditions included in IT agreements.
  • Coordinate the acquisition, and renewal of existing agreements.
  • Interact with Legal and Purchasing staff as needed to implement new contracts and renew existing contracts.
  • Monitor the termination dates of existing IT agreements
  • Investigate and arrange for software licensing or volume discounts
  • Make legal and financial arrangements with IT suppliers, deemed to be in the best interest of Vanderbilt University Medical Center
  • Serve as the liaison between the Customer, Office of Legal Affairs, Technical Owner, and Supplier to negotiate Agreements
  • Source, research, and become familiar with core computing systems in use at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
  • Interact with Business Owners, IT staff, IT Suppliers, Local Support Providers, Local Area Network managers, Purchasing Agents, and people who hold similar positions at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
  • Assist Sr Sourcing Officers with RFx’s
  • Assist Sr Sourcing Officers with Supplier Reviews
  • Negotiates contracts for continued cost savings and reliability
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with software licensing contracts
  • IT sourcing & procurement experience
