Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience planning and designing an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation of hardware and software solutions to support our federal government customer. The ideal candidate will be experienced in advanced, complex technical projects and business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, test, and integrate a solution to ensure system meets customer requirements
• Plan, design and oversee engineering activities for customer’s systems infrastructure, including the implementation of hardware and software solutions
• Work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge Analyze complex issues and implement solutions to correct problem areas·
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on modeling and architectural development
• Develop technical documentation and reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field preferred
• 10 years experience providing systems engineering support in a government contracting environment
• Experience planning, designing and overseeing engineering activities of an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation of hardware and software solutions
• Capable of analyzing complex issues and implementing solutions to correct problem areas
• SME level knowledge in modeling and architectural development
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
• Occasional travel and overtime may be required

Required Clearances and Screenings

• The ability to successfully satisfy a government Tier 2/Moderate Risk Background Investigation. A current government background investigation (or equivalent – e.g., DoD Tier 3/Secret) is preferred.
