Job Description

As a Temp Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all phases of the recruitment and selection process for designated departments. This position is instrumental in establishing effective recruitment pipelines to access top level talent, while delivering timely and effective customer service to their clients to meet the hiring needs of the organization. 

Schedule and Pay Details:

  • Majority of the time your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. May need to work on weekends and/or holidays based on the business needs.
  • We are looking for a local candidate on Maui, Kauai or Oahu - majority of the time it's remote work from home but travel as needed for hiring events and trainings.
  • This is a temporary position starts around May 20th, 2024 until the end of September, 2024 (start and end date may change) with the rate of $30 per hour.


Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively source, network, and market our open job opportunities to build a pipeline of qualified candidates 
  • Use existing tools and technology to source, evaluate, interview, and present a slate of qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration
  • Ensure regular communication with the client to provide updates on status and progress
  • Attend community and/or diversity organizations, colleges, and local events and job fairs
  • Support company-wide initiatives by serving on special projects within Talent Acquisition Services
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Prior experience in recruiting
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Ability to travel locally or out of state to attend hiring events and job fairs
  • Must be local on Maui, Kauai or Oahu

 

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Strong planning and organizational skills using the ability to set priorities, plan, and coordinate events
