Job Description

Mount Indie is seeking a Test Manager for the Navy Personnel and Pay (NP2) program, a PeopleSoft-based HR and payroll system. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all testing phases, including software and documentation, meet stringent quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PeopleSoft payroll systems, leading substantial teams, and managing multiple testing projects of similar magnitude and complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all test-related activities such as unit, regression, automation, 508 compliance, end-to-end, and payroll validation, ensuring adherence to approved designs.
  • Manage testing scopes across NP2 and related components, including Government Acceptance and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR).
  • Organize and lead a test team to meet all program requirements, ensuring comprehensive test planning, documentation, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain testing procedures, oversee defect management, and automate testing scripts as per contractual obligations.
  • Ensure all deliverables fulfill performance, operational readiness, and additional non-functional requirements.
  • Maintain testing standards, review and approve testing outputs, and provide detailed execution reports and metrics.
  • Manage multiple testing teams, overseeing test script execution and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills and a strong technical background in iterative development methodologies, including Agile Scrum.
  • Extensive experience in testing and leading tests for large-scale PeopleSoft implementations.
  • Proficient with industry-standard testing tools for test case management and defect tracking.
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll modules.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Secret Clearance preferred.

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Test Manager in similar large-scale enterprise HR and Payroll system implementations, preferably within government or DoD environments.
