Job Description

Overview:
As the Third Party Risk Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the security and risk management due diligence for vendors in the organization. This role will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential security risks associated with vendor relationships and implementing appropriate strategies to mitigate those risks. The Third Party Risk Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that vendors comply with all relevant security regulations, standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess security risks associated with potential vendor relationships
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate any identified risks
  • Ensure that vendors comply with all relevant security regulations, standards and best practices.
  • Monitor vendor security performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with other functions, including legal, privacy, vendor management, IT and the business to achieve strategic goals.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on program activities and KPIs.
  • Ensure continued visibility to emerging threats to supply chain
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information assurance, management of information systems or similar
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in third party risk management
  • Experience with Enterprise TRPM solutions
  • Experience maturing TPRM workflows and processes
  • Experience analyzing spend data to ensure vendor population accuracy and classification
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
Preferred Experience:
  • Direct experience in highly regulated environments
  • Background in IT Audit and / or Information Assurance
  • Certification in IT Audit, Risk Management or similar
Location & Compensation:
  • Location: Located anywhere in the US / Remote role
  • Base compensation is expected to be $120-140k with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
