Green Spoon Sales is looking for a positive, collaborative, and detail-oriented Trade Spend Coordinator to join the Promotions & Trade Spend team. The Trade Spend Coordinator will work closely with our brands to understand their objectives and align trade spend activities with their overall marketing and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade spend management within the food industry and a proven ability to navigate the complexities of broker-client relationships. This role is a remote position, unless located in the Denver/Boulder area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade management processfor assigned brand partners.
  • Work closely with brands and internal teams to confirm the execution of promotions, ensuring timely and accurate communication of promotion details.
  • Enter trade spend data into relevant systems and databases, maintaining organized documentation for all trade spend activities.
  • Manage the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of promotions and new placement deductions from retailers and distributors
  • Collaborate with brands to review performance results and identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Great attention to detail & highly organized
  • Proven experience in trade spend management within the CPG industry.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical & strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
  • Familiarity with trade promotion software is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of retailer and distributor promotions, promotional discounts, and pricing strongly preferred.


Salary and Benefits:


Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly, based on experience
