Job Summary and Qualifications


As a Vendor Resource Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the VRM Management team for vendor scheduling, generating and analyzing reports, system access provisioning, tracking and monitoring of quality, productivity, and work queues.


What you will do in this role:


  • Generates and distributes various monitoring reports including but not limited to: pend queue reports (PM), CAC Assigned/HOLD reports, quality reports, rebill reports, NMI rejection reports, MTURC mismatch reports, and prebill log reports
  • Performs and distributes weekly trending and rollup reporting on various reports/monitors (ex. Mailbox stats, URC mismatches, NMI rejections, pend queue/CAC Assigned/ HOLD etc).
  • Assists Data Analysts to maintain data integrity of the SharePoint team room and VRM error log
  • Saves recordings and transcripts for VRM team department meetings
  • Submits system access requests for vendor users
  • Assists in maintaining the vendor staff lists
  • Assists in scheduling coding resources appropriately according to established need as directed by the VRM Manager/Director
  • Communicates work schedules and daily schedule changes to the vendors including weekends as needed and directed
  • Reviews and updates vendors daily production report in internal reporting tools
  • Reviews and updates daily CAT files for internal tracking and review
  • Works the Mailbox on a daily basis to ensure all incoming emails are triaged and flagged appropriately and also logged on the mailbox log for VRM team members to process
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the scheduling tools and reporting functionality
  • Serves as a backup to prepare reports from the scheduling tools as needed
  • Assists with entry, calculation, and tracking of vendor productivity and/or quality data as needed
  • Assists with maintenance and tracking of coder education as needed
  • Maintains various files as requested by VRM Management
  • Tracks and trends data as needed and provides outcome reports to VRM Management


What qualifications you will need:


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior scheduling experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year acute care hospital HIM experience preferred.
  • Strong excel knowledge
