Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Vice President/Vice Chair. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Directors, the Vice President/Vice Chair will play a pivotal role in providing leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to our organization. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for our mission and a track record of driving organizational growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chair of the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to advance the organization's mission and goals.
  • Assist in overseeing the operations and administration of the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Represent the organization externally and cultivate relationships with partners, donors, and other stakeholders to enhance visibility, support, and funding opportunities.
  • Contribute to fundraising and resource development efforts, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:
- Leadership role, preferably as a Chairperson or similar position

-Proven track record of strategic planning, organizational development, and program management.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

-Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams, staff, and volunteers.

-Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and grant writing.

-Knowledge of financial literacy, consumer support services, or related fields preferred.

Note: This position is voluntary until grants are funded and patents approved. Additionally, the applicant must reside in Puerto Rico.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $1.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
