Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Virtual Registration Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing feedback on daily registration processes and staffing issues to the Virtual Registration Manager and Director. You will also provide assistance to staff-level employees as necessary to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures. Assist leadership with staffing, report reconciliation, QA process.

What you do in this role you will:

• Assists Manager and/or Supervisor in creating staff schedules and ensures adequate coverage
• Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff are adhering to the patient experience expectations.
• Promotes and demonstrates excellent customer service
• Maintain QA statistics (including patient wait times, etc.) and report results to Manager/Director.
• Oversee the daily activities of the registration area to ensure department standards are met
• Assists Manager/Director in educating registration staff of any changes pertinent to their roles
• Assume on-call responsibilities to insure adequate staffing and problem-solving
• Interview patients virtually to obtain all necessary account information.
• Greet every patient in a timely manner through the Virtual Registration platform, meeting established goals for wait times
• Maintain professional image through appearance and communication
• Well versed in device, application and telecom related to Virtual Registration in order to ensure consistent patient connectivity
• Ensure charts are completed and accurate
• Verify all insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts
• Ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of related experience required
